The Evolution of the Girl Powerhouse Network Mastermind
by Tiffany Parra

In 2019 when I decided to create the Girl Powerhouse Network Mastermind, I never imagined it transforming into the movement it is today. We are a collaborative group of women with many talents, skills, and abilities to share. I always tell our new sisters, if it’s not in your wheelhouse, I bet it’s in hers or hers. What happens when you take the ego out of things and learn how to ask for help is magnificent. In the Girl Powerhouse Network, “Ask, and you shall receive.” We know our sisters can’t travel through the journey of life alone, so we are there for them with no judgment and unconditional love. Sometimes we feel like if we share our trials and tribulations with others, they will look at us differently. Well, some people may be out there, but most are not the women in the Girl Powerhouse Network. We know we ALL go through crazy times in life. Sometimes we even feel like we can’t take it, and we want to break but dig deep, my sister, because your resilience is your superpower! The stories in this book are more tales from women transforming their trauma to triumph to inspire the word. The experiences shared had these women physically, mentally, spiritually, and at times financially broken - yet they all came out on top. The common theme of the stories is to never give up regardless of the situation. Life is full of challenges, and we must have the mindset of, “This too shall pass.” For me, it is the unwavering faith that God’s got me! In my opinion, genuinely connecting with that Higher Power was the key for me to open myself to some great new possibilities. Sharing your story can be a difficult task. You must revisit some unpleasant experiences when you tap into the thoughts surrounding the trauma, which can invoke some buried emotions. I commend these courageous women for having the strength to share their stories and the resilience to keep pushing through. There are many more amazing women with stories to tell that can impact the world! I challenge those on the sidelines to step into your power and purpose by standing on the framework of your story, not in it. Your narrative doesn’t define who you are, but it sure does help you develop your superpower.
